Buses

Sewards Coaches runs bus 684 to and from Honiton on Saturdays (except public holidays). The bus leaves Seawards at 9.30am and gets to Honiton High Street at 10.10. The return bus leaves Honiton Market car park at 12.00 noon, arriving back in the village at 12.37.

On Thursdays (except public holidays) Sewards runs bus 686 to and from Axminster. The bus leaves Sewards at 9.55am, and calls additionally at Ham phone box at 10.03. It gets to Axminster Square at 10.45. The return service leaves Axminster Square at 14.00, and returns to Ham at 14.42 and Dalwood at 14.50.

Fares for both these bus services are £1.50 return, but everyone with an East Devon concession pass can travel free.

Fare Car

Fare Car F11 provides a range of journey options from the Dalwood area to and from designated points in Axminster and Chard. Like a bus service, Fare Car has fixed arrival and departure times and points, but unlike a bus it will pick you up from home. To use this service you need to contact the co-ordinator at least one day before your intended journey.

This is a public transport scheme financially supported by Devon County Council, and costs just £2 per journey. Anybody of any age may use the service.
