Village Hall Development Bulletin 1

The Trust would like to keep our community informed of the progress on our plans to improve the Hall. You may be aware that the plan is to provide a larger kitchen, improved toilets and a small meeting room.

The good news is that we have now received planning approval and despite not having full funding for the first phase, the Trustees are about to start the building works. Fundraising has been on going for the past twelve months, and will now intensify as we are some £8,000 short of our target.

(Four of the male trustees are subjecting themselves to a ‘Grand Sponsored Shave’ on 30 November at the Tuckers!!).

We have recently received a £1,000 anonymous donation. The Raft Club have donated a substantial sum. Scott Rowe (Solicitors) have also donated and Eileen Bull has donated a small parcel of land.
