Village Hall Development Bulletin 2

The Trust would like to thank all villagers for the interest shown following our first information bulletin, distributed in November 2007.

Having received Building Regulation Approval, we are now able to start, and hopefully you will see a good deal of activity in the near future.

We have enlisted the voluntary help of two of our village professionals, Mick Oliver (The Barn) and Alan Fearnley (Oakham House), but the rate of progress is entirely dependent upon the offers of voluntary help. So please, if you have any DIY skills, or just able to offer physical work, contact either Kathy Laing (881601), Ray Bradley (881262), Phil Roberts (881686) or Ray Venn (831120).

We are still short of funds to complete the first phase (new toilets), but are delighted and most grateful to the Badminton Club and the Raft Club for their very generous donations, and to all of you who sponsored the Big Shave.
